Meet the Bears and Creatures available for Adoption

My name is Anita aka the Bear Maker and I live on a small island in darkest Essex in the Bear Cave. I am the British Bear Artist Award winning  creator of the OOAK Pod Bears, creatures and Elfins who make an appearance searching for their 'special ones' in my magical, mystical garden and Bear Cave. My mission at Pod Bears is to create bears and creatures that bring a smile to your face. 

All of the bears listed on this site are completely unique and are created in either Mohair, Alpaca, fabulous faux fur and sometimes a mixture of the above. They feature hand sculpted Polymer Clay noses, mouths, claws and belly buttons. I work from my own hand drawn designs and patterns that I have created making every Pod Bear unique and a one off!  I hand shade fur, taking into consideration lighting and their quirky characters. Bears and creatures are part pellet filled and fully jointed. Other creatures also make an appearance in my family of creations, such as rabbits, dragons, spiders, unicorns and Elfins to name but a few.  

I occasionally undertake commissions, please drop me an email re these and my availability as my commission book fills up quite quickly. I'm always happy to discuss future ventures!
